We recently received a pat on the back from one of our clients who was impressed by our writer's work. When we told our writer she had done a great job, her answer was, "That's because my brief was so perfect!"

Your project brief means a lot to us because it is used as a guideline for your project. This single document makes a long journey – from Sales to Project Management, then on to the coordinator, the writer, the editor and the final QC team. While our team makes every effort to capture your requirements, sometimes unclear briefs can hamper the progress of a project. In this issue, we would like to share something important with you – something that will help you give each new project just the right start.

As the year end approaches, we are drawing up plans for new services, better systems and smoother operations in 2009. We hope that you will support us, as always, with your feedback, comments and encouragement.

How to Write the Perfect Project Brief

When it comes to working virtually, communication is the key to quality. A Project Brief, the set of instructions and details about client requirements, can make the difference between a successful project and one that falters at every step.

In the past issues of our newsletters you have read about the various ways in which our Project Management team tries to deliver high quality results. While it is true that once you, the customer, have placed your order and sent us your requirements, there isn’t much to do but wait for the first draft. But you can do one invaluable thing to get the most out of our talented team: provide a project brief that explains your expectations. Here are a few tips on how you can get the best from Chillibreeze: Read on

  Communication in the Virtual World

How Chillibreeze team members have evolved to adapt to the virtual work-environment

The past decade or so has seen tremendous development in the world of communication and we are all lucky to be part of this revolution. There was the time when writing a letter or picking up the phone was the best way to get in touch with someone (let’s not even go to the messenger and pigeons!). The internet has come to mean so much more to us and at Chillibreeze, we’re spanning the globe in our day-to-day work.

For us, communication and keeping in touch is vital. While our design team works at a conventional brick and mortar office based in Shillong, India, the content team works out of homes all over India and the world. We have evolved in various ways to give our very best to Chillibreeze and Chillibreeze customers. No, we haven’t yet grown antennae or started communicating by telepathy, but that may be just around the corner. Read more...
