This Resort is approximately a one and a half hour drive from downtown Bangalore. The ambiance is quite different from Angsana Resort. The Golden Palms has an elaborate entrance to its mediterranean style resort.

Why is Golden Palms Spa & Resort a good day trip?

• One and a half hour drive from downtown Bangalore.
• The swimming pool is the big pull for our family. It is always fun for the kids to try out a new pool and this one is huge and sprawling. I will say that swimming in such a big pool is most enjoyable when Bangalore temperatures are at their hottest.
• The Resort has a pool side restaurant Café Solaire which offers a buffet and a la carte menu, complimented with a large selection of Indian dishes. Note: We ate at the Poolside restaurant when the Golden Palms Resort was being managed by the Hilton Company. The chef was excellent and the food fabulous. The resort is under new management and we have not visited since then.
• The Resort offers a “menu” of spa treatments. I have not had any, but found the tour of their facilities and offers very interesting.
