Goa, a small but beautiful state in the west of India, is famous for its beaches and beautiful climes, making her stand tall in her own unique beauty.

Although a small state, there are many places of interest in Goa which attracts any tourist or traveler and leave them spellbound. They go back home carrying with them beautiful memories of the lovely and enchanting Goa. On my visit to Goa, I was awestruck by its beauty, and its beautiful memories still linger in my mind.

The beaches of Goa are glorious. Looking at the beaches, I was filled with the desire to lie down, close my eyes, listen to the waves hitting the shore, and feel the cool breeze and the warmth of the sun. The beaches come to life with music, beach parties and carnivals at night. I had the greatest time of my life at these parties and carnivals where I met some very interesting people.

Water sports such as surfing and scuba diving are also popular attractions at these beaches. Beach side restaurants are also famous in Goa with scrumptious Goanese dishes such as xacuti, Goan chicken fry, balchao, stuffed mussels, fish curry, and calamari.

The Churches in Goa stand tall and proud in their ancient style and enigma. One can see the impact of Portuguese art and architecture in these churches and the beauty of these churches is exquisite.

The stay at the Hotel ‘Plaza de Antonio’ was a wonderful experience too. It was a home away from home. This hotel has all the facilities that one would look for - arranging tours, travel assistance, doctor on call, internet access and much more. There is also a swimming pool and a poolside bar which provides all sorts of Goan dishes and few cocktail drinks.
