I Had a Dream

We all dream sometimes. Most of them are erased out of memory even before we wake up, but some dreams can affect us deeply and may become etched on our mind for very long time, if not forever. Some of them seem to convey to us a higher message which makes them more than just a plain mind fantasy. I had one such dream recently which appeared to address my fear of flying.

My Dream
I dreamt that I am standing in the middle of a forest scared to my bones, knowing that I have to fly somewhere. At that time I notice an airplane landing right in front of me. I see the pilot gets off the plane and start moving towards me. I notice a familiar face but am not sure who he might be. He comes closer and closer and looks right into my eyes.

Meeting God
I am wonderstruck to see, He is none other than God Himself. He asks me to board the plane as the first thing, but faithless me refuse and confess my fear of flying. God laughs out loud for a moment and then turns serious, again look into my eyes and says the following words, “I am the pilot here and this plane would never crash”. He holds my hand and takes me into the airplane. I woke up instantly after this and noticed some tears of joy in my eyes.

Lesson Learnt
I won’t say I am done with all my fear, but this dream has given me lots of faith. I am a better flyer then before.
