We’ve all been there. Your colleagues are suddenly coming up with all the bright ideas while you’re frighteningly slow, you miss the most obvious solutions, and even your teenage brother seems abnormally smart these days. Your brain is stuck in a rut and creativity seems to have dried out. Welcome to adulthood! It doesn’t matter if you were a super achiever, as a student. The day to day monotony of repetitive office life can dull even Einstein’s brain. On an average, we use only 10% of our brain capacity. Exercise Try solving the crossword and the sudoku every morning. Read the papers everyday and follow up on issues. Learn a higher number of mathematic tables every week. Remember, the brain, at the end of everything, is a muscle. Exercise will only make it better. The idea is to keep your head working. It will be extremely frustrating in the beginning.
