Q1. Is Chillibreeze a Call Center or BPO?

No, we do not consider ourselves either a call center or BPO. We are a professional services company providing PowerPoint design services for global corporations. We work for some of the biggest companies in the world right from our office in the Software Tech Park in Shillong. Our team uses their creative design talent to produce quality work during regular working hours.

Q2. Is Chillibreeze an Indian company?

Yes, Chillibreeze is an Indian private limited company registered in the state of Meghalaya. Please read more about the history of the company on other pages of this site.

Q3. How long does your staff in Shillong typically stay with Chillibreeze?

Our employees are very satisfied with their work. They are paid well and are very loyal to the company and our customers. They appreciate the vision and values of Chillibreeze. Because of this, several employees have been with the company since it was established in Shillong (2006) and many others for over 4 years. We greatly value our long-term employees. They form a strong foundation and are the reason for our success.

Q4. What are the working conditions like in your office in the Software Technology Park in Shillong?

Our staff completely focuses on their work from the time they start in the morning till the end of the day. We are very careful to select people with high levels of concentration and a long attention span. We try hard to get in specifically the kind of people who enjoy mastering skills. This is not for everyone. Some people just cannot do this so we make sure we select the right people or we find a better fit. We recognize that everyone has different talents and skills so we do our best to place people in positions where they can excel.

Q5. What rules do you have? I am considering apply for a job but don’t know what to expect?

We have created a policy handbook that covers leave, cell phone use, security, confidentiality and much more. You will be required to read this document, agree and sign that you will follow all the rules of the company. We are very strict. This is for the sake of our customers as well as the benefit of all employees of Chillibreeze.

Q6. How does your staff get to the and from the Tech Park?

Shillong is not big, so commute times are short. A few people ride their motorcycles to work and some get dropped by family members, but most come and go in groups in Chillibreeze-sponsored taxis.

Q7. What long-term opportunities can I expect at Chillibreeze?

Our goal is to help people be the best they can be and this includes raising them up to be managers. We constantly encourage people to take on more, do new things, thus opening doors for people below them to move up. The process gives our staff the opportunity to move to new positions and earn higher salaries. We take pride in raising leaders from Shillong and North East India. In fact, that is part of our long-term vision.

Q8. How do I know I will like the work that I do if I join Chillibreeze?

If you are looking for immediate gratification and fun at work, then this is not the place for you. Our work is often hard and tedious but we enjoy the satisfaction that comes with results and mastering skills. Sometimes work can be challenging and stressful, but we have seen coal turn into diamonds from stress. We have seen people mature to be responsible leaders and managers. All our managers are from Shillong and 100% of our staff are from North East India. Most staff, including managers are young, with the oldest being in their early 30s.
