Chillibreeze organizes several events for its employees like picnics, sports events, lunch meets, and even an occasional mountain trek. These events bring the employees from different teams together to bond under different circumstances while at the same time ensuring some pure, spirited fun!

Celebrations on Becoming a Microsoft Certified Vendor
On 18th June 2011 Chillibreeze became a Microsoft Approved Vendor. Becoming a Microsoft Vendor is a huge task. Microsoft is a corporation with a head count of over 90,412 employees world wide. Chillibreeze will be supporting Microsoft employees working from the headquarters at Redmond in the US. To celebrate the momentous occasion, the Chillibreeze Shillong team went for a lunch party at Hotel Polo Towers, Shillong.

Mock Drill Display – Earthquake Drill
Meghalaya, Shillong lies in the region prone to earthquakes. In order to be ready for any such eventuality Chillibreeze organized a mock drill in March, 2011, as a precautionary step. Each member of Chillibreeze feels responsible to look after the safety and security of every other employee in the organisation.

So a full fledged earthquake drill was carried out. It started with the employees filing out in a disciplined, calm yet quick manner. The exits were clearly marked and noted. Help was provided, people were moved to safety, senior staff carried phones to inform the families and also communicate with one another. A first aid box was carried and the necessary assessment of injuries could be made.

Picnic Staff to "Kshaid Dainthlen"
In the first quarter of this year employees of Chillibreeze decided to take a break and go on a full day picnic. They started off at 9AM and lunch was packed from a restaurant and carried along. Their destination was Kshaid Dainthlen located in Cherrapunjee. The employees of Chillibreeze had a fun filled day playing ball games, blindmans buff and other games; they enjoyed an outdoors lunch together. Some even went on short hikes making the day a memorable experience.

Birthday Celebrations
Ralph is the director of Chillibreeze. He celebrated his birthday on the 18th of February this year in Shillong along with the Chillibreeze team there. A barbecue lunch was organised at the Guest House. Some games were played and the Chillibreeze staff along with Ralph had an enjoyable time.

Chillibreeze Sports Events – Cricket
India winning the world cup 2011 was an inspiration to the Chillibreeze team. The Chillibreeze Shillong team played a cricket match by organising themselves into two teams at the Shillong Golf Course which is also the second largest course in Asia. And the award for the winning team was a great deal chocolates!

Trekking Trip to ‘Nongriat’
The Director and a few employees of Chillibreeze went hiking to “Nongriat –The living root bridge” in February this year. These bridges are made by stringing small roots across rivers and guiding them as they grow. Some are over 80 years old and are the only means to cross raging monsoon filled rivers in remote parts of the state of Meghalaya. Five members of the Shillong team of Chillibreeze hiked 3 hours to explore these remote and remarkable bridges.
