The staff work from the Software Technology Park in Shillong India. JOB DESCRIPTION

PowerPoint Expert

Chillibreeze is looking for people to work with the PowerPoint team in Shillong. As a PowerPoint Expert you will format PowerPoint slides for international business consultants by making graphical edits and formatting text. You will transform rough incomplete slides into more graphically engaging easy to understand presentations. You must be detail oriented, organized and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

RESPONSIBLITIES

Coordinate with global customers to clearly understand project details and deliverables
Design, produce and edit PowerPoint presentations from hand drawn sketches, Word documents, emails, images as instructed by the customer.
Manipulate and format data in PowerPoint to create attractive and easy to understand tables, diagrams, graphs and charts.
Create or edit graphic elements including photos and clip art using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Collaborate directly with customers to edit graphics, charts, and diagrams as required.
Provide rigorous, consistent quality control including checking typesetting, spellchecking and proofreading.

REQUIREMENTS

Attention to detail – Following detailed instructions from both customers and colleagues.
Typesetting - Layout, formatting, fonts, colors, consistency etc.
Doing what you say - Completing things so someone does not have to follow up
Tracking - Keeping track of tasks using Harvest (an online tracker) and generally having good work habits
Serving - Serving customers as well as our colleagues
Respecting others in little things - Let your yes be yes and your no be no.
Following - Learning to follow a Team Leader (TL) and Manager
Responding - Learning and knowing which email needs immediate response and which email can be put on hold till a later time.
Enthusiastic positive attitude willing to 'do what it takes' to satisfy customers.
'Healthy reliable and able to meet the daily expectations of teammates without outside distractions.

All applicants will be provided one month Chillibreeze Corporate Training so they are better equipped to deal with the requirements of a Presentation Executive.

The below describes the work you will be doing and the training Chillibreeze will provide.

Your training will be focused on these main requirements.

Formatting the text and images in presentations based on a given template and style guide. The image to the right represents what a formatted corporate template looks like.
Design a template, style guide and color scheme based on a description or a website.
See the examples of the completed PPT template that was designed by looking at the customer's website.
You will also be required to format the presentation based on the approved design.
Take an image, hand drawn notes, or sketch and format the PowerPoint presentation based on the customer's template and style guide.
Quickly understand the general content of the presentation so you can improve the visual impact.
Search for images on image portals such as iSTock Photos.
Use keywords or sentences provided in the PPT to select the best image.
Place the images into a presentation to give a professional visual look.

Customer's also send requirements for image search. The below is an example list from a recent project:

- User in Conf rooms, hotels, cafes
- Hi-end user picture – laptop, no wires, not Apple
- Adoption curve – star on the early majority
- Railroad crossing (closed with traffic)
- Dead end/canyon/flood across road
- Dispatcher/stock broker with 3-4 phones in hands
- Big checklist- unstructured
- Chasing a departing train/plane
