Web Application Implementer (Virtual Position or Full Time Shillong, Chillibreeze: STPI Office Location)

ROLE

Chillibreeze is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our web team. This job involves launching, implementing and maintaining new web applications to enrich our websites and operations. The selected candidate will setup, launch and manage 3rd party resources with the assistance of a developer and writers. The purpose of this role is to increase the company’s ability to leverage the power of the internet by finding, integrating and launching cutting edge, user friendly web technologies.

The selected candidate will be responsible for implementation of new Web-based improvements to ecommerce, customer feedback, customer support, project collaboration, recruiting, user generated content, forums, project tracking, marketing and more. The ability to prioritize ideas and bring together emerging technologies, perspectives and people to quickly try and then implement solutions is needed.

This is not a technical role. The selected candidate will typically work with easy to set up plug-and-play web applications and use the admin panel and help forums for customization.

This is the perfect job for someone who wants to learn and stay abreast of latest ways of engaging site visitors, creating new customers, assisting existing customers, generating feedback, getting site users to comment and more. RESPONSIBLITIES

Advising and implementing enhancements to company websites.
Design solutions from a non-technical perspective that are simple plug and play yet powerful.
Drive the implementation utilizing the features of Vbulletin CMS, points system and more.
Select and install templates and skins to web applications.
Become a WordPress expert to create useful growing sophisticated websites where users interact and communities grows.
Integrate WordPress shopping cart and other plugins and assure its success.
Set up and manage Zendesk or similar application then assure all parties are using it effectively.
Implement Facebook-like chat bar on websites to connects with potential customers.
Stay abreast of the latest web tools, methods and trends.
Must read forums, websites and reviews to find best possible options for Chillibreeze. Research all options and recommend the best long term solution without complex technical problems.

REQUIREMENTS

Discipline, well developed work habits and family support.
Should know limitations of technologies to select best rapid solutions.
Must have basic understanding of functions and features of websites.
Aptitude to suggest and implement strategic ideas and inspire commitment.
Experience with setting up WordPress and integrating plugins.
Ability to implement emerging easy to implement web technologies.
Must be familiar with the dynamics of company systems like CRM, CMS.
Familiarity or experience with Dreamweaver is a plus.
Must be humble, mature and consistently thinks WE rather than ME.
Experienced managing people and projects.
Enthusiastic, creative and a good communicator.
Must have skills to influence others to achieve project goals.
Big picture oriented with ability to focus on priorities.
Experience with SharePoint, Basecamp, Vbulletin, Google Apps preferred.
