Publishing for Children

Chillibreeze will now be publishing works for and by children.

The network of Chillibreeze writers has some talented author ‘moms’ and young writers. It was only a matter of time that requests and suggestions from the writers was translated into facilitating publishing of their works.

As of now, we are looking at content which the parents can read out to children in the age group of 3 to 5 years. If you have a manuscript ready, please contact us.

So, who can publish?
Well, we are encouraging parents to publish original stories and grandparents to share the tales they narrate, ones which are still missing in print. If you want your child’s work to be published, we can do that too. In that case, please visit our FAQs for publishing your child’s work

Is this a free service?
Afraid not!

The sign of the times is such that we cannot offer design and editorial services for free. If you can submit a ready to publish story (as PDF with graphics or flash), we can consider publishing it based on mutually agreeable terms and conditions.

Do I receive a payment for the stories I submit?
Chillibreeze will not pay for stories you submit. The best ones will be picked for future eBook publications and authors whose work is published in priced publications will share a percentage from the sales. If not, stories will be hosted on Chillibreeze or its group websites with author credits and as free downloads for readers.

What kind of stories?
Originality is the key.

We want to focus on stories carrying a message about health, good manners or values. The story setting and nomenclature has to be Indian. We are also keen on tapping all orally transmitted folk tales.

Chillibreeze believes in nurturing writing talent. Writers and authors interested in pursuing children’s writing can opt for review services, editorial support or tutorials for improving their works.
