Can I sell my eBook?

Of course! Some new authors prefer to offer their work as a free download so that they can showcase their style and capabilities to big time publishers. If the subject has universal appeal, then you should try and price it. Priced products often have more value for the user in terms of information or entertainment or both.

How do I price by eBook?

Chillibreeze can work with you to arrive at a pricing that is best suited for your eBook. The price will depend on the subject matter. The best part about ePublishing is that you can tweak and test various price points with the help of the ePublisher. We recommend that, you, the author suggest a price to start with.

What will happen when someone wants to buy my eBook on Chillibreeze?

The first sale of your eBook is a thrilling moment! Chillibreeze has shopping cart software integrated into the site. Anyone wishing to purchase your book can do so online, using their credit card.

You will find that our prices are quoted in US Dollars. That is because we use Paypal and it does not, as yet, support INR transactions.

Payment for purchase can also be made using wire transfer or through a cheque. The details will be provided to the buyer online. All you have to do is make your book interesting enough for people to want to buy, and we will ensure that the purchasing transaction happens smoothly.

How will I get paid?

Once your eBook is sold online, the accounts division of Chillibreeze will send you an intimation. Payment to authors is made twice a year - January and July. Payment will be made in Indian Rupees and can be made as a cheque or as a direct transfer to your bank account depending on your convenience. The percentage you will receive depends on the option you have selected. You can expect to make anywhere between 50 to 70% of the net sales.

How do I trust the ePublisher to inform me when the sale happens?

I guess this is based on trust. Chillibreeze Solutions Pvt. Ltd. upholds highly ethical standards.

What about copyright?

You will own copyright over the content. If you submit the complete file, with design and layout, then you will own the copyright for the design too. Chillibreeze will own the publishing rights in the form it is ePublished on Chillibreeze.
