Her mixed educational background and experience has ensured expertise (ranging from intermediate to high) in several areas including toxicology, immunology, clinical pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism, hematology, oncology, infectious diseases, vaccines, endocrinology, and neurology.

A pharmacist with post graduation in journalism and patent law, Soumya has been in the field of healthcare for six years.
