Workshop on Travel Writing in Hyderabad

Workshop on Travel Writing in Hyderabad

Great news for budding travel writers who are looking to get a foothold in the field! Chillifreeze has invited a renowned American trainer and writer to conduct a Travel Writing workshop in Hyderabad on Saturday, the 21st of March 2009. This will be prior to the Hyderabad Write Meet, at the same venue.

The half-day training will cover various aspects of travel writing including: types of travel writing, common travel writing errors, tips, resources, etc. There would be interactive exercises during the session and a "free" post-workshop critique of participants' travel writing sample.

If you're interested in enrolling, please email us at info@chillifreeze.com to confirm your interest. You will not be charged now. We will be sending information on cost of the workshop, the presenter's profile, venue etc. to those interested in attending. And you can make your decision when you have all the required information. Writers will be able to pay on the site as soon as registrations open.

Meet Kanchan Kaur - Vice Dean IIJNM.

Kanchan Kaur, the Vice Dean of the Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media has been a print-medium journalist for over 18 years.

She has written on a wide variety of subjects from crime to art profiles. Apart from journalism, she has taught written analytical skills at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and has worked on several corporate training assignments.

She teaches news gathering, reporting and writing skills to students at IIJNM.
