Hello writers! We hope you had fun at all the Chillibreeze events last month and have signed up for a few more. These online events are a great way to build a professional network and get to know other writers and the best part is most of these sessions are free! So all you need to do is set aside some time and sit down at your computer to start networking! If you've been bitten by a serious travel bug and are wondering where to head off to this Dussehra break or how to make the most of the next long weekend - help is at hand! Win yourself a book on weekend getaways and you'll be on your way to that dream vacation soon enough. And if it is your writing career that holds top slot, then may we suggest signing up for a power packed 2 hour workshop on Writing for the Web? You'll learn everything you need to know - from what opportunities there are for someone with your background, to how to get started on new projects, to tips on specific genres. Have a great month! Travel Writing Contest - Win a book on Weekend Getaways We launched our latest fun event on our Facebook page and a few of you have already sent us your entries. Don't miss out on this chance to win a copy of the travel book 'India's top 42 Weekend getaways - Quick escapes from the daily grind'. This collection has something for everyone - culture and history aficionados, wildlife and nature enthusiasts, those who love the quiet majesty of mountain retreats and even a section for sun and sand worshippers who love to frolic on the beach. Hop on Board the Collaborative Writing Project Celebrate the coming together of the finest creative minds. Chillibreeze offers a chance to test the group dynamics and creativity of our writers' network. We have launched a collaborative story writing project flagged off by award winning author, Anita Saran with the introductory thread. You can post your addition to the thread as a new paragraph. Each of the subsequent writers adds to the sequence logically until we conclude the story. This project is a fun event, but if the story turns out well, we will publish it with due credit to everyone involved and you will get your own copy too.
