Getting started

I need my documents edited. How do I send them to you?
If you have the document ready, and if the document is not more than 5000 words, then use our Express editing services.
If you are exploring the idea of sending us editing work, then fill in our enquiry form and give us as many details as possible about your project. We will get back to you within 24 hours, if the enquiry comes in Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm Indian Standard Time.
I am a busy consultant and deal with high-end customers and expect very high quality of service. I am a no nonsense kind of person! Can you meet my expectations?

Send us the details about your requirements. We will get back to you with an honest analysis.
I may have a project in the future, but am currently merely gathering information. Will Chillibreeze give me a quote for such a “future project”?
Sure. Send us details and we’ll let you know the rates and turnaround time.
I do not work for a company, but I have a project that I think Chillibreeze may be able to handle for me. Will you take on my job?
Certainly, as long as the volume justifies it and the work in an area of our strength. Please contact us and we will speedily revert to tell you whether we can take it or not!
I have a project and it needs to be completed in 24 hours. Can you work on it?
Yes, once we have understood all your requirements. We complete assignments in 24 hours for our regular corporate clients. The charges are higher as a dedicated team handles such work.

Rates & Prices

Do you have a standard rate sheet?
We customize rates based on customer specific requirements. We will be happy to discuss your project with you before drafting a quote.
What information do you require in order to give me a price quote?
As much as you can provide! A clear brief on the kind of service you are interested in, the volume of work and a style guide, if any, would be a good start. A link to something online that you like would help us to capture your needs better!

Confidentiality & Copyright

Will I own the copyright to all the material developed for me?
Yes. You will own the copyright for all the material developed for you.
Will your writers maintain confidentiality of all content developed for me?
Our writers sign confidentiality agreements with us. Besides, as a policy, all material developed for a customer is deleted 3 months after delivery has been accepted and approved.
Will you use articles written for me as samples to send to future clients?
No. We will not share anything that you have paid for, with anyone else.
Will you sign an NDA before I commission a pilot/trial project?
While we are not averse to signing NDAs, we prefer to do so only when you commission a major project.
How will you guarantee plagiarism free material?
We stand by our work and do everything in our power to ensure that there is no plagiarism in the material we develop for our customers. Every article we send you goes through a standard process of QC and plagiarism checking.

Under rare circumstances, plagiarism tests could fail and let something slip. So, if you find plagiarism in the material developed for you, we will rewrite/rework it for you at no cost to you.
Will you sign my company’s NDA?
Chillibreeze has a standard Non-Disclosure Agreement that we are willing to adapt to your specifications/requirements. However, if you prefer to have your company’s NDA signed, we will be happy to have our legal department review it before we decide to sign. Our aim is to help you feel at ease and we will do everything possible to achieve this.
I do not work for a company but I want to be assured of confidentiality. Will Chillibreeze sign an NDA with me?
Sure. We have our own standard format NDA and will be happy to sign it with you to assure you of confidentiality.

References & Referrals

I want to refer a friend to use Chillibreeze’s services. Who shall I ask him/her to contact?
Firstly, thank you. We appreciate your referral and promise to live up to your expectations. Tell your friend to visit our website and fill our enquiry form. Ask them to mention your name. As a token of appreciation we will give you a referral discount on the next project we do for you!
Can you provide me with a list of references?
Yes, definitely. We have a number of clients willing to share their experience of working with Chillibreeze. Please mention this when you fill our enquiry form and our sales manager will follow up and provide you with the references.
Why do I need to give you information about my requirements before getting references?
If we know what your project is, we can provide references of clients for whom we did similar projects. This will help you get specific information.
I was referred to Chillibreeze by a friend. Does my friend get anything?
Your friend is eligible for a referral discount on their next project. We promise to live up to your friend’s word.

Editing & Editors

Will I have to edit all the articles myself?
Not unless you want to! Our rates include editing, proofreading, spelling and grammar checks besides plagiarism checks.

But if you wish to get raw, unedited, first drafts and do the editing yourself, we will provide you with a quote, taking that factor into consideration.
Do you check material for plagiarism before sending it to me?
Yes. Everything we deliver to you passes through our strict plagiarism checker.
What happens if I find plagiarism in the material you developed for me?
This is not something that happens often, but plagiarism checks have their own little gaps! Let us know at once and we will re-writer/rework the material for you at no extra cost. Our coordinator who has worked with you will be able to give you further details about this. But, let us assure you that you that there is very little chance of you facing this issue.
Can your editors edit according to the Chicago or AP Manual of Style?
Yes, we have editors who are able to edit according to specific editing styles – Chicago and AP Manuals of Style for sure. Besides, if your company or magazine or publication has its own editorial style guide, our editors will work according to these guidelines.

Payment Options and Policies

How do I make a payment to Chillibreeze? What modes of payment do you accept?
We accept payment by Credit Card or Wire Transfer. You can pay using your Credit Card through two secure payment gateways - PayPal and CC Avenue. If you wish to pay by wire transfer, we will provide you with an invoice with all the bank details that you will need.
Will there be any transfer costs or fees?
Yes, transfer costs are payable.
A collection fee of 4% of the invoiced amount is payable on Credit Card payments. We will add this amount to the invoice. The wire transfer fee will be payable by you to the bank through which you make the transfer. The rates vary from bank to bank.
I am having trouble paying by credit card using the invoice you sent me. What do I do?
Sorry that you are facing an issue. Please contact the Sales Coordinator who has been in touch with you or email sales @ chillibreeze dot com. We will work with you to sort out the issue as quickly as we can. A fresh invoice may need to be sent.
Can I pay through PayPal?
Yes, you can! Even if you do not have a PayPal account you can use your Credit Card and pay using the PayPal invoice that we send you.
Do all your customers pay in advance? What guarantee do I have that my work will be completed?
Yes, this is a very valid fear and we understand your concern. As company policy, we work only against a full advance payment. We assure you that you will get the delivery as per schedule and of quality you will appreciate. I guess you have to just trust and try us! We have a large number of satisfied customers who are willing to vouch for our quality and authenticity. We will be glad to provide you with a list of references, if needed.

Having said that, many companies draw up a Purchase Order in advance and send us regular work. We bill these customers at the end of the month.

Samples

I want to see some samples of your work before I commission a project. All the projects we do for customers are under strict confidentiality and we do not disclose any details without a customer’s express permission. We can however work on a short paid sample for you.

I have seen the samples on your website and I liked the way a certain writer writes. Can I ask for a specific writer to work on my project?
Please discuss your wish with your Sales Coordinator and we will do our best to get the same writer for you, but we cannot guarantee it. However, we prefer to work with a select group of tested resources who have the necessary experience. We will find the most suitable writer for your project!

Trials/Pilot Projects

Before I commit to a long-term project, I want to try out your services. Is there an option for me to do this?
We will be happy to work on a pilot project with you. We welcome the opportunity as it will help us understand your requirements better. But this needs to be a paid one. We do not work on free samples.
Will you sign an NDA before I commission a pilot/trial project?
We prefer to sign NDAs for long projects. For pilots we guarantee full confidentiality and the same treatment as if we were under NDA with you.
I plan to commission Chillibreeze for a big, long-term project. Can I get a discounted rate for the pilot?
If you have a large-volume, long-term project for us, we will definitely discuss the possibility of a discount. But for the first few projects, till the volume gets established, we do not give a discount. Sorry about it!

Writers

Will I be interacting directly with the writer who works on my project?
Only if you wish to or need to! Our Project Managers can act as the go-between and pass information, guidance and directions back and forth between you and the writers. They will supervise the work, keep you updated on the progress of the project and generally ensure that everything is on track. This means you just finalize the rates, make the payment and sit back as the completed work turns up in your inbox! No supervision, no worrying, no hassles.
Can you provide a dedicated team of writers for my projects?
Definitely we can – provided the requirement will be an ongoing one or for a minimum of 3 months! This will be an iterative process and will start with a team of one or two before scaling up. We prefer to start with a pilot, understand your needs and then set up a team. This team will work virtually and can work seamless with you.
Who are Chillibreeze’s writers?
Chillibreeze has a diligent, multi-step selection process for finding the best, most talented and experienced writers for you. Our writers are Indians but they do not necessarily live in India. They live and work from different countries.
How do you select writers for a project?
Once we know your requirements and receive your payment, we select the writer who best fits your project from a pool of highly rated writers. They will be tried and tested writers who have consistently performed well on many other customer projects.
Of course, if you have very specific needs, we might not have a big pool of writers to choose from, but our aim is always to find the best for you.
Do you have writers who are professionals?
Yes, we do. We have a very wide network comprising of MBAs, Economics graduates, doctors, medical professionals, scientists, engineers, architects and those representing a variety of professional fields. We also have journalists and editors.
Is there any chance of conflict of interest if the work I have for you is done by a writer who works for my competitor?
We will do everything in our power to ensure the security and confidentiality of your material. If you feel that there is even a remote chance of a conflict of interest issue arising, please let your Sales Coordinator know about this. It will help us immensely to be aware of such a situation. From our side we always make sure that the selected writer/s is indeed suitable for the project.
I have seen the samples on your website and I liked the way a certain writer writes. Can I ask for that specific writer to work on my project?
Please discuss your wish with your Sales Coordinator and we will do our best to get the same writer for you, but we cannot guarantee it. However, we prefer to work with a select group of tested resources who have the necessary experience. We will find the most suitable writer for your project!

Where in India are you located?
Chillibreeze administrative offices and accounting staff along with our design team work from our facility in the Software Technology Parks of India at Shillong, in the verdant North-East of India. It is in the State of Meghalaya.
How do I get more information about Chillibreeze?

I may be in India sometime soon. Can we meet then?
We are a virtual company in the true sense of the word – our offices in Shillong house our administrative and financial staff as well as our design division. The content team functions in a virtual environment. The rest of our team of coordinators work from their respective homes and they could be anywhere in India or even in the US! So it may not be possible to meet in person, but we can definitely discuss your requirements over Instant Messaging services like Yahoo, Skype, MSN or Google talk.
Can we discuss the details of my project over the phone instead of email?
Over time, we have discovered that email is the most efficient way of documenting your requirements. While telecons might be easier and quicker, it is very easy to miss vital details and requirements over the phone. However, if a telephonic conversation is vital to your project, please let us know and our sales coordinators will be happy to call and speak to you.
