Service Provider?

Communication
Your vendor or offshore service provider should be able to communicate with you clearly and easily, by phone, email and live chat. It is best to put your requirements down in writing as different styles of pronunciation can cause misunderstandings.
Understanding
Your vendor should understand your business needs and translate them into content that works for you, whether it is a brochure or an article that you require. This should start with good listening, as Stephen Covey says,“seek first to understand then be understood.”
Relationship
Your vendor should aim to establish trust and a working relationship with you, to smoothen the content development process. Once the trust and reliability is established, you will find future projects much easier to handle. You should aim to work as partners, not as vendor and client.
Process
Your vendor should have a system in place, from the understanding of the job to the Service Level Agreement to the payment mechanism and the final delivery. You may ask for samples of writing before awarding the contract, and for revisions in the draft before approving the final content.
Make it Easy to Outsource to India
Your vendor should try to make it as easy as possible for you. This may mean trying to ask the right question without over-burdening you, being sensitive to your time and creating processes that are fast and efficient. Generally this requires getting in your shoes and trying to see things from your perspective.
Delivery
The final product should provide satisfaction and meet your approval, providing consistent standards of quality in the content on time and in a hassle free way.
