Turning Northeast India's Potential Into Profit With a Purpose
About 17 years ago, Chillibreeze saw what most others did not. The people of Northeast India have amazing potential. Now, the company has ambitious plans to use its profit with a purpose model to release hidden potential in new areas.

Venturing into Naturally Dyed Eri Silk Yarn & Handlooms, Turmeric and Tourism.
Reviving The Art of Weaving
Our team is working with nearby villagers who rear silk cocoons, hand spin yarn, dye with natural methods and weave in the traditional fabric — Eri Silk. We are reviving the potential of people and their ancient and ancestral traditions.
We will sell Eri silk yarn and products via e-commerce to customers who will love this rare, warm, rustic fabric. We believe this will revive village livelihoods that are slowly dying and being given over to factory-made fabrics.
In our tribal region, hope often comes as hand-outs but there is another way. We believe that the diligent work of a good company can make a difference and from our firsthand experience in Chillibreeze, it is transformative.
True to Our Vision
By faithfully serving global customers, our staff have become confident, independent and prosperous. They are responsible, capable leaders in their families and society. Many are earning more than they imagined possible.
With vision and values, we built a successful company proving that a good company can make a difference. With this foundation, we will replicate and spread this vision.
Be a Part of Our Journey
However, we face new challenges. Villagers prefer the easier expectations of non-profit organizations. Some have a mindset that companies will exploit them.
Once our business is successful, we expect that our method of creating hope and opportunities will be contagious. Once people experience the benefits of creating products for global customers, they will feel productive and purposeful and break free of the receiving, entitled mindset – prosperity will follow.
You are welcome to follow the journey at muezart.com — and we look forward to comments and suggestions.

Proving the Agricultural Potential of Meghalaya
World's Best Turmeric
Started 6 years ago, Zizira sells turmeric on Amazon India. Our team goes to remote regions of Meghalaya to buy turmeric from select small scale farmers.
Grown in hilly, remote forested areas near to the village of Lakadong, we source a very special turmeric. It is unique and so good, we believe it is the World’s Best Turmeric. It is rich in curcumin (above 7.5%) and grown in such pristine conditions that our customers buy it not for cooking but for medicinal reasons.
Our team selects the best of the best directly from farmers. It is then washed and processed by hand in our own facilities. Visit zizira.com to learn more.
Farmhouse Market, Village, Handloom Tourists
Under construction is our newest venture. Just on the edge of Shillong, we are developing a mini Khasi village where spinners will spin and weavers will weave.
We are striving to make it a model place for learning, experiencing and enjoying traditional foods and handicrafts. As part of the village, we have restored an old bus that is a symbol of the regenerative vision of the village.
These blue and yellow busses evoke deep sentiments as they were the main means of transportation when there were only a few other vehicles in Meghalaya. Travelling from village to village they are called 'BOS SMIT' because one of the destinations is the village of Smit.
