Morph is a new Transition option that allows you to animate smooth movement from one slide to the next. This feature is available only in PowerPoint 2016 subscription versions and PowerPoint 2019 versions that are updated to support it.
In this one minute video, you will learn how to use Morph transition to objects in order to enhance the look and feel of your slides just by clicking on that nifty Morph transition button. You can add Morph transition effects to your texts, shapes, colors, pictures, icons, SmartArt, WordArt, even tables and charts; you can animate it all.
To use Morph effectively, you will need to have two slides with at least one object in common—the easiest way is to duplicate the slide and follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go to the Insert tab
Step 2: Click on Shapes drop-down arrow and select the shape you want
Step3: Next Duplicate the shape (Ctrl + D)
Step 4: Duplicate the slide
Step 5: Move the objects on the second slide
Step 6: Go to the Transitions Tab and select Morph
You can preview the transition by selecting the Preview button under the Transitions Tab.
