How to Help You Ace the Interview at Chillibreeze

We are constantly changing to find better ways on how to make each candidate’s experience a good one.

Not all the candidates who come for the interview are chosen. We have an expectation and we want people who want to grow and develop the people they work with.

It is NOT about EXPERIENCE, it is not about your QUALIFICATION.

We want people with VALUES, PRINCIPLES, and HUMILITY.

We have a lot of freshers, for some; it’s their first interview. They are inexperienced and have a lot to learn. We try our best to guide each candidate who stepped in to better prepare themselves for their next interview, whether they made it or not.

Though our hiring process has changed because of the pandemic, I want to share some of the appointed Cbers' experiences during the interview.

I am hoping this will help you prepare for the interview and ace it if you really want to be a part of our team.

The hiring process was not as I expected it would be. I thought that there would be several evaluation rounds and procedures that I needed to follow. The one thing that stands out was the people who I was in contact with before the interview. The way they communicated made me feel comfortable; talking to them gave me confidence. Initially, it was nerve-wracking as it was my first time interview for a job; I was not sure what are the do and don'ts. When one of the HR contacted me through a call, I made sure to ask whatever I can about the interview. I thought I screwed up in the final interview round as I was not aware of many of the things, all I could do was, to be honest, and say that I do not know the answer and will go back to look into it.

I brushed up on the aptitude questions from Indiabix and practice PowerPoint, but it was not enough. Before the interview, I contacted a few of the employees who worked in Chillbreeze, asking them what do I need to prepare for the interview. The answers I received were not satisfying, one said, 'you just need to be curious and be yourself.' It was vague, but somehow that also helped me. I browsed the Chillibreeze website and prepared based on what I could get from the site. But I wanted more insights of the company from the outside perspectives, so I started looking at the reviews on Chillibreeze, understanding more about what the company does. I found a few sites showing the statistics of the company in terms of revenue and employees, giving me a gist of how the company is doing. After getting a clearer picture of what the company does, I question myself, "Is this what I really wanted to do?". The next day I found myself sitting in the visitor lounge for the interview.

My message to you is, Be honest and dare to say "I don't know" instead of making a fool out of yourself. Be authentic. Be curious but wise and lastly, ask yourself if this is what you want.

The Hiring process was great overall! In the first round, I loved how the interviewers gave a right mix of casual-formal behavior, making the candidates extremely comfortable to contribute and to be more open. The second round was more intense; I was surprised when they asked about our commitments to the company. (if we were to be appointed) This round was more about our behaviors and values and less about the skills.

To prepare for the interview, I tried to get enough information about the company as much as possible by reading thoroughly through the website. I also binged watch all the YouTube videos that explained about the culture, the work environment, and the hiring process. Next, I devoted an abundant amount of my time to learning about PowerPoint as much as possible, knowing the tips and tricks, solving graphic problems, enhancing my typing speed, etc.

All I can say is, "Don't boast your skills, a skilled person can easily be replaced but no one can replace a person with character and humility. Curiosity should come from within you.

The hiring process for me was good and professional. I still remember vividly the first day I came for the interview. I was greeted by one of the HR team member, who escorted me to a room to appear for the online test. After the online test, we waited patiently and anxiously for our turns for the interaction round. I did not have to wait long for all the stages to complete. In just a few days, I was attending the training.

To prepare for the interview, I learned the basic PowerPoint tools from YouTube and read the blogs the HR emailed us. It helped me understand more about the company and it also directed me to great links to learn more about PowerPoint

I do not have any words of wisdom but all I can say is, be presentable and come prepared, first impression matters, be authentic, be a good listener don’t waste the interviewer’s time by trying to answer the question you don’t know, be truthful, it’s okay if you don’t know the answer but what matters is being truthful and open to learn new things.
Confidence is the best outfit for interview.

The hiring process felt natural and organized. I did not have to wait as long as I thought. It was almost effortless for me to find the place, and I had all the information needed for the procedures.

I went through the website to prepare for the interview. This helped me understand what the company is trying to do. Thus, I could give relevant answers during the interview. I also opened up my old college presentations, which I now realise did not help, because I learnt almost everything I know from the training.

Some words of wisdom for aspirants: Ponder on these questions –

• What are your personal values?

• What is your career plan?

• How will you adapt to change? In your habits? In your life? In your beliefs?

• Why are you looking for a job?

The hiring process was different in Chillibreeze as compared to other organizations; everything was in order and timely. I came in for the walk-in interview, unknown about the experiences. I managed to impress the interviewers with my authenticity and curiosity.
