The Four-tune Hunters: Teamwork and Resilience

The Beginning: High Energy and Enthusiasm

On 12th February 2025, the HR Team initiated the Guiding Practices Treasure Hunt, coordinated and led by Nafissa Kharkamni, Head of HR. The purpose of this initiative was to foster a deep understanding and implementation of our Guiding Practices. As part of this unforgettable Treasure Hunt, the "Four-tune Hunters" embarked on an adventure that tested our problem-solving abilities, strengthened our bonds, and reminded us of the power of collaboration. This blog recounts our journey, the unique contributions of each team member, and how we overcame obstacles to achieve our treasure.

From the very first clue, excitement buzzed in the air. Nafissa, who played the role of Captain Elara, kicked off the hunt with full force, and we dove in, ready to conquer every challenge. Our team of four—Pynshai the storyteller, Fairy the unstoppable driver, Ethung the mystery solver, and Hazel the galvanizer—was eager to apply our guiding practices in a fun and competitive environment. We called ourselves the “Four-tune Hunters” as per the first clue we unveiled. Each member brought their unique strengths to the table, and we quickly formed a strategy to maximize our chances of success.

Achievements and Challenges

Our initial progress was impressive. We unfolded several clues with ease, and our confidence soared. However, as the hunt progressed, we found ourselves racing against the clock. Despite our best efforts, we couldn't complete all the clues on time. This setback was a valuable lesson in time management, strategizing, and prioritization.

Tricky Puzzles and Unexpected Obstacles

Tricky puzzles, misdirects, and unexpected obstacles kept us on our toes, demanding quick thinking and creative solutions. What initially seemed like a fun game soon became a true test of teamwork and resilience. The competition from other teams, such as The Sentinel Tides and Cannonballs Team, added an unexpected twist to our adventure. One of these teams, the “Cannonballs,” used their power tools to misdirect our hunt, but we didn't let this deter us. By applying our guiding practices—Can do attitude” and “Rock the Boat”—we managed to get back on track and complete the hunt. This experience reinforced the importance of being flexible, open to change, and overcoming challenges. It taught us to turn “lemons into lemonade.”

Team Building and Unique Contributions

Despite the time crunch, the experience brought us closer together. Each team member's contribution was unique and invaluable. Pynshai the storyteller helped us with instant stories of how he and other team members practice our guiding principles. Fairy, the unstoppable driver, kept us on our toes. Ethung, the mystery solver, skillfully deciphered complex quizzes, and Hazel, the galvanizer, collaborated and brought the team together to achieve our treasures. Nafissa, the captain, advised and acted as a consultant on our journey into the unknown.

We received many interesting clues, and one activity involved engaging with other leaders and team members in the company to understand how they resonate with our guiding practices. This initiative helped us create bonds among leaders and other team members from various departments. We had the opportunity to collaborate and learn so much about them too. We understood that each challenge was an opportunity for growth—not just as individuals, but as a team. We learned to work through ambiguity, trust each other’s instincts, and adapt quickly when things went off course. Every solved clue and obstacle overcome became a testament to how well we could function as a unified team.

Celebrating Our Journey

Our treasure hunt, initiated by Nafissa, was more than just a fun activity; it was a powerful team-building exercise that highlighted the strengths and unique contributions of each member. Through teamwork, effective communication, and the application of our guiding practices, we overcame challenges and achieved our goals.

This adventure wasn’t just about solving puzzles—it was about living our values and demonstrating our “Can do attitude” in action. We pushed through discomfort and uncertainty, trusting that together, we could tackle any challenge that came our way. This experience taught us how to apply these learnings in our daily work, in our contributions to the team, customers, and company.

Here's to the "Four-tune Hunters"—a team that faced adversity with grit and passion, celebrated each victory along the way, and proved that the true treasure is the strength we find in each other.
